Reasons for Foundation Replacement

• The original house was built without a foundation.
• The foundation is constructed of unreinforced masonry, such as brick, concrete blocks or stone.
• The existing concrete foundation is badly deteriorated.
• Faulty or poor quality materials were used in the original foundation.
• Project to expand square footage requires new foundation structure.

Foundation Replacement Steps

1. House is raised to take bearing load off of foundation
2. Old foundation is removed
3. Trenching for the new footing
4. If needed, helical piers with pre-construction brackets are installed
5. Forms are built and rebar is installed
6. New foundation is poured
7. Forms are removed
8. House is re-set on new foundation
