Strict Quality Control procedures are standard in the manufacturing plant. Exact specifications and strict guidelines ensure that RAM JACK® products have virtually no failure when properly installed.
Only the finest quality steel products are used in the RAM JACK® system. All Ram Jack products intended for use in contact with the ground are protected from corrosion by POLYARMOR G17 polyethylene copolymer thermoplastic powder coating. Engineering reports estimate the steel in the ground has a life expectancy of 50-100 years
The most common solution for repairing a failing foundation uses deep-driven push piers. They are driven vertically below the underside of the foundation or footing until they encounter strata or soil stable enough to resist the bearing weight of the structure.
The auger-driven helical anchors and tie backs can be installed in low-overhead, hard to access, situations quickly, with virtually no soil disturbance. They can be used for any load-bearing or shoring situation. They are ideal for anchoring retaining walls or for shoring basement walls.
For new, pre-construction situations, especially on questionable soils, pre-construction foundation anchors can guarantee that there will be no costly foundation settling problems in the future.
Each of the piering products is used in conjunction with an array of foundation brackets designed to transfer the bearing weight of the foundation to the pier, for a specific situation. These include:
